About the event
Day 1: Fundamentals of Supervision (10:00 - 16:40)
Day 2: Enhancing Supervision
Day 3: Models of Supervision
Day 4: Supervision of Supervision
Supervision is central to our development as practitioners, both as supervisees and supervisors. Good supervision is essential to ensure the quality, ethics, and efficacy of any service through supporting practitioner development, skills and insight. It has the potential to provide an invaluable space, where supervisees are supported to reflect deeply on their work and to promote self-awareness, health and well-being. Supervisors need support to enable their own skills in this very important role.
This is the one and only time that this event will be available during 2021 and the very last time in association with the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors. Linda has been the preferred trainer in supervision for the BPS since 2007 and this training course has been refined through many years of delivery across services and professions.
Each workshop provides a day of CPD in Clinical Supervision and offers a chance for practitioners of all levels, from beginners to advanced, to enhance their experience of supervision. The course consists of four online, interactive workshops. It is intended for psychologists, counselling and psychotherapeutic practitioners, healthcare and allied professionals. Unlike many other courses, there is a high degree of participation and practice. Rich with insights and immediately transferable skills, this course supports the development of supervisors and supervisees at all levels of experience, seniority and qualification.
