Supervision Training

The Course

Linda has developed a comprehensive 4 day course in Supervision Practice and Skills. The course has been  refined through many years of delivery, evaluation and practice-based evidence. Unlike other courses, participation is limited to a small group, allowing for a high degree of participation and individual attention.

Linda delivers the training in-house independently. Services commission the course at their own pace, some wanting one day per year and others wanting the whole course year after year. Since 2006, it has been the only short course in Supervision commissioned and endorsed by the British Psychological Society.

Although each day stands alone, completion of the 4 day course confers eligibility to apply to the post-qualification BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors (RAPPS).

The course is suitable for Supervisors of all levels of experience, seniority and qualification. It is valued by, and beneficial to, psychotherapeutic, health and helping professionals.

Senior Lecturer / Psychotherapist / Counselling Psychologist

I found all the days I attended stimulating and enjoyable. I feel that I have learnt a lot and highly valued your facilitation and teaching style.

I have already informed colleagues who are considering a supervision course to seriously consider your course. You are making a highly valued contribution to the field.

Clinical Psychologist

I found the SACS model a very beneficial way to guide supervisees through a reflective process. The structure of the SACS is helping supervisees to feel contained in moving through the steps and knowing what is expected from them at each of these stages. Supervisees are also enjoying the different techniques to enhance reflection.

Assistant Principal Educational Psychologist

I am contacting you to say thank you again for a wonderful first day, I really enjoyed it and thought that it was an excellent day.  I know that several colleagues have already begun to implement some of the planned actions.

Dr Michael Carroll Ph.D.

Linda is in demand to provide team training for supervisors. I can safely say that Linda has become one of the foremost supervisor trainers in the UK. The popularity of her courses attest to the high standard of teaching and her engagement with the participants who consistently rate her programmes as excellent.
